Green iguanas are not indigenous to Florida. Abandoned iguanas are regularly euthanized, and they cannot survive our occassionally chilly winters.

Our mission is public awareness, education and rescue of these beautiful creatures.

We do not recommend that the general public approach iguanas in the wild. They can be aggressive and have very sharp teeth.
